ENCINITAS, CA (BRAIN) — San Diego County retailer Ride Cyclery has acquired Pink Peloton, a store that focuses on the women's market. The two stores will co-habitate a new location opening later this week.

"We know the women's category within the cycling industry continues to grow and we want to be sure we are bringing our female customer the best of what the industry has to offer," said Brent Garrigus, Ride Cyclery's vice president.

The new location is at 449 South Coast Highway in Encinitas. The store will open November 1 in the red barn-like building.

The store carries brands including BMC, Giant, Wilier, BH, Argon 18 and Electra. It also includes a state of the art bicycle fit station, an in-house espresso cafe, and now the Pink Peloton women's section.
