2. Introduction

Chromium Carbide Alloy Powder is a metal-ceramic coating powder developed to meet the requirements of high-temperature wear resistance, with a melting point of approximately 1400°C. The coating applied with this thermal spray powder is mainly used on parts that require surface resistance to abrasive particles, high hardness, micro-movement wear, and erosion resistance in the temperature range of 540℃ to 815℃. It is an extremely wear-resistant and oxidation-resistant composite coating, mainly used for engine rotors, turbine blades, coal-fired boiler combustion chamber of high-temperature wear fittings.


The two components in Chromium Carbide Alloy Powder are the nickel-chromium alloy phase and the chromium carbide ceramic phase. Chromium carbide phase can increase the hardness of the coating, and it can generate dense chromium oxide protective film at high temperature. Therefore, it has excellent resistance to high-temperature oxidation, excellent corrosion resistance, high-temperature hardness and excellent high-temperature anti-wear performance. The low melting point of this metal powder coating results in a fairly good match with the thermal expansion properties of the heat-resistant alloy substrate at high temperatures.


3. Product application:

Special welding materials, such as flux, surfacing electrode flux, flux cored wire, high temperature mold and fuel nozzle.

The addition of Cr3C2 in cemented carbide can refine the grain size, improve the strength and hardness of the alloy, and significantly improve the corrosion resistance of the alloy.

In the thermal spraying industry, plasma spraying and supersonic spraying are used to increase the wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and hardness of workpieces.

Adding Cr3C2 in Arc spraying wire , submerged arc welding pipe wire and arc spraying wire can improve the high temperature resistance and wear resistance characteristics. Chromium Carbide can be applied to repair and prevent the four tubes of boiler, to metallurgical distribution chute wear-resistant lining. It will greatly improve the service life of grinding roller due to adopt the tubular wire surfacing adding Cr3C2.


4. Product packaging:

The products are packed in steel drums or woven bags, 100kg / drum or 25kg / bag. If the buyer has special requirements, it can be negotiated by both parties.
